One of the best and beautiful lifetime memories and experiences in 2020 is the trip to Kanyakumari.

Trip to Kanyakumari

Whenever I think about you (Ocean), I feel immensely better and happy.

Even though you are miles far away from me, you make me smile and make me feel beside you.

Our trip started on 16 January 2020. I was not interested in going to Kanyakumari.

I felt so uneasy, but seriously when I saw you (Ocean), I felt love in you. That moment was a goosebump moment for me.

My heart full of happiness, eyes full of happy tears something but everything is you only on my mind.

Actually, in the morning I ran and came to see you due to darkness I was not able to see you.

Nevertheless, after a few minutes with the rise of the sun, I was able to see you clearly with a beautiful breeze on my face which made me smile again.

my Sunrise experience in Kanyakumari

After viewing the sunrise, we went to a Jain Bhavan to have our breakfast. It was so delicious and excellent.

Sarvani Shaktipeeth Shri Bhagavathy Temple

We visited one of the iconic temples of Kanyakumari known as Sarvani Shaktipeeth Shri Bhagavathy Temple (Goddess Devi Kanyakumari Amman).

We were welcomed with a considerable crowd; stood in the queue and got her blessings.

My favourite moment came again visiting the Ocean where two seas and one huge Ocean gets merged, i.e., Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean.

We planned to go boating and again there was a heavy crowd, and we have to wait for hours to purchase the ticket.

Phew, at last, we got the tickets.

Waiting in line and buying the ticket was a sweet pain as I was going to experience the fun of going in a boat amidst the Ocean.

Finally, we got our seats in the boat. We wore our safety jackets for boating, and our trip’s first step amidst the Ocean started happily. It was a beautiful exotic experience.

Vivekananda rock & Thiruvalluvar statue

Our trip is incomplete without seeing the Vivekananda rock memorial and Thiruvalluvar statue. Right?

Yes, we visited the mighty Vivekananda rock and took photographs. I was so sad as I could near the Thiruvalluvar statue.

However, we enjoyed that 133ft tall stone sculpture from the Vivekananda rock and am so proud as an Indian to express that this is 25th tallest statue in India.

After boating and site seeing we all had our meals and as a mandatory thing which has to be followed when you visit Kanyakumari is to see the sunset.

Finally, we enjoyed the sunset. What a scenic beauty you are amidst the sunset.

I miss you now severely, my dear Ocean, but I hope I will meet soon.
